In 2003 DoMSA was formed and affiliated with the University of Melbourne Postgraduate Association (UMPA). Its members are students from the Department of Medicine who are situated at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Hospital campuses. Its aims are:

• To enhance the academic and professional life of the Department of Medicine postgraduate students.
• To encourage the social interaction of students within the Department.
• To provide academic support to fellow postgraduates and thus foster communication of research ideas and collaborations.
• To represent the Department of Medicine postgraduate students to the Department, Faculty and University.

DoMSA Committee
