The University of Melbourne/Western Hospital is conducting a research study investigating the effects of a new 12 month community exercise and lifestyle program aimed at increasing bone density, muscle function and reducing falls risk. The study includes free supervised exercise sessions in the western suburbs, vitamin D and calcium supplements and bone density testing.
